Haleigh's Hares & Alaga Sisters

I began my rabbit journey as a 4-H member at just 10 years old. What started as a small project quickly grew into a lifelong passion for raising and showing rabbits. With the encouragement of my parents and guidance from a couple amazing and dedicated mentors, my rabbitry developed rapidly, with a strong emphasis on quality, structure, and breed standards.

Over the years, I have shown rabbits at the local and national level, earning many top 10 placings in Mini Rex, Californians, New Zealands and Holland Lops. I have also received numerous Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion awards for fair meat pens, along with multiple 4-H showmanship wins.

In 2022, I introduced my soon-to-be sister-in-law to the world of showing rabbits, and Alaga Sisters was born. Together, we have expanded our program and remain committed to breeding high-quality rabbits that are competitive in the showroom and sound in type and temperament.

Giving back to the next generation of rabbit breeders is something I am truly passionate about. I enjoy helping youth exhibitors learn the fundamentals of breeding, care, and showing rabbits. Whenever possible, I offer showmanship coaching and hands-on rabbit clinics to support youth in their growth and success. In addition, I offer high-quality show rabbits, fair meat pens, and single fryers, all raised with careful attention to health, structure, and performance.
